Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act
The current project of the LDICP seeks to draft legislation which will close the loophole in the Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act that allows for the assignment of non-lawyer court appointed special advocates – or CASAs – in lieu of actual attorneys.
